First Consultation

We will provide you with all the information, research and knowledge regarding building your first family or investment home. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the entire land purchase / home building contract process and all the associated costs. For the home design we emphasize that you read through the list of inclusions very carefully to understand exactly what you are paying for. We also recommend you meet with an accredited financial professional to establish your borrowing capacity.

Selecting your land

If you don't already have a parcel of land, we can help you source and secure the location of your new home and even offer access to many exclusive lots in some of the best housing estates. We will create a convenient turn-key home and land package for you. To purchase the land, you require a solicitor or conveyancer. Once you obtain a contract of sale a deposit of 10% off the purchase price would be needed. Your lender will advise you on the best process of releasing funds from your loan and any repayment schedule that would commence.

Home Design and Desposit

Once you’ve chosen your land, we will recommend a range of floor plans and house features in line with your requirements and budget. After this stage you will be signing a home building agreement. We can help you understand the important parts of this agreement and outline the step-by-step process required to take your new home from start to finish. We will also advise you of the costs of getting all the Council approvals done. We use the approved Housing Industry Association (HIA) building contract, offering the assurance of a fixed-price guarantee. A 10% progress payment is due at the time upon your signing of the contract. Once the necessary approvals are done and after you settle on the land we will begin the process of building your new home.

Colour Selections of Your Home

Working with the Designer, you will choose from the latest colour schemes for painting and the tiled areas of your new home. The base stage is complete once the concrete slab is poured and this is also when another progress payment of 10% is due. This is followed by the stages of completion of the frame, brickwork, wall cladding, roofing, insulation and installation of temporary external doors, all internal plaster, architraves and skirts, and kitchen cabinets. Eventually, in the final stage we complete the tiling, shower screens, fittings, plumbing and electrical connections. The progress payment amounts and stages will be detailed in your contract. We’ll contact you at specific stages to inspect the works.

Due to OHS reasons, your Site Supervisor will make inspection appointments with you each time you would like to visit your site and get a better understanding of the building progress stages.
